Linga TheBoss is a rapper, writer, and speaker from Nashville, Tenn., but she's also the inspiration behind a viral video that's gone viral on YouTube.
In the video, the self-described "woman of faith" raps about her journey to become a Christian, People reports.
The 25-year-old says she first fell in love with rap music in middle school and found a creative outlet through battle rap, but it wasn't hard for her to transition from that to writing lyrics.
"I think that I enjoyed the process of writing my lyrics down more than I liked the idea of having to come up with lyrics on the spot," she tells Billboard.
"I realized that, with my pen and some time, I could be a better artist and come up with the lyrics that best communicate my message."
In the video, Linga talks about her journey to become a Christian and how her mother, who left her hometown in Zambia to make a life in the US, was the only person in her class to leave her hometown to go to college.
