A Canadian hospital is teaming up with one of the country's top medical schools in an effort to save lives.
The CBC reports Guelph General Hospital and the University of Guelph have signed a memorandum of understanding to work together on a number of fronts, including research, education, and patient care.
"We believe that an important step forward for the entire community simply can't do," says Guelph General Hospital President Charlotte Yates.
Among the goals of the partnership, per a press release, are "Improved clinical care, patient outcomes, and diagnostic methods," as well as education and training for medical professionals.
The two schools also plan to work together on rural community development and inequities in health care. Read the Entire Article
