Nebraska's River Point Creative District is "relatively new but is already contributing to our community in ways large and small," writes Kara Weander-Gaster in a blog post for the district, which includes the public library, the Norfolk Arts Center, and the River Point Farmers Market.
Among other things, the district features murals, live acoustic music, and a pottery booth at the market.
It's also home to the Norfolk Arts Center, which "brings people and the arts together through visual and performing arts, art classes, and events," Weander-Gaster writes.
"The next time you visit the downtown area, I encourage you to stop by the NAC and visit its free galleries."
