An annual surf and music festival in the UK has given more than $115,000 to dozens of charities.
The Boardmasters Festival in Cornwall, which runs from Aug.
7 to 11, raised the money through ticket sales and donations, the BBC reports.
"We're proud to call Cornwall our home, and we're just as proud to be able to donate to charities, schools, businesses, and support incredible and often vital local causes," says Boardmasters CEO Andrew Topham.
Some 40 organizations will receive money from the festival, which Topham says is a "meaningful way to give back," the Guardian reports.
