The creative industries are dominated by the privately educated, research has found.

Bafta nominated actors (35%) are five times more likely to have attended a fee-paying school than the average population.

Young people from working-class backgrounds are less likely to get a place to study creative subjects at the most prestigious institutions.

The charity is calling for an a€œarts premium to be introduced.
