Students at Helix Charter High School are doing their part to improve the environment.
The school has developed a Sustainability Action Plan to guide its environmental strategies.
The long-term goals include institutionalizing sustainability into all aspects of campus life, from curriculum to building operations.
Students are also learning in and out of the classroom about the importance of taking care of one's surroundings.
