Q&Amp;A: Ashley Howell

Ashley Howell serves as executive director of the Tennessee State Museum.

Howell previously worked as deputy director at the now-Frist Art Museum.

The state has invested in preserving its history in recent years, including the State Museum in 2018, the State Library and Archives in 2021, and now a $32.5 million museum collection storage facility.

For more than 200 years, individuals and organizations have preserved the history of our state.
