It's that time of year again: time to start thinking about what you'd like to do when you grow up.
And for kids in Nebraska, that means thinking about art.
The Grand Island Independent reports on a new summer art program at the Prairie Arts Center in Grand Island.
Kids Klub is designed for kids ages 4 to 7, and it has expanded to include Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and a three-day class for kids 11-14 at the end of June.
Adult classes are also available.
"The art classes offer many benefits, including increased dexterity, comprehension, and critical and creative thinking," says the center's director.

A Gilesgate-based shop and community facility, Hexham’s Core Music, launches a separate workshop where up to six people will be trained how to repair guitars and make ukuleles. The European Social Fund grant supported the project and has secured funds through the County Durham Communication Foundation to equip the workshop in Burn Lane.
