The Oregon Symphony Is Expanding Its Open Music Program

That's what the Oregonian is saying about Stay On It, a concert featuring the Oregon Symphony and five "dynamic new voices" that the paper describes as a "minimalist figureheads with a quintet of dynamic new voices."

The piece in question, by Icelandic composer J ? 'hann J ? 'hannsson, is a "minimalist figureheads with a quintet of dynamic new voices" that the paper describes as a " combination of'minimalist figureheads with a quintet of dynamic new voices.' And no, minimalism nerds, that probably doesn't mean a duet between Hildur Gu ? 'nad ? ttir and the ghost of J ? 'hann J ? 'hannsson."

The concert is part of the Oregon Symphony's Open Music series, which was started two years ago by Gabriel Kahane, the symphony's creative chair, the Oregonian reports.
