Alabama's Theatre Tuscaloosa will be putting on a full season of shows from 2023 to 2024 thanks to a $14,200 grant from the Alabama State Council on the Arts, AL.com reports.
The money will fund the company's 2023-24 Season: A Season of Change, which will include shows like Rodgers and Hammerstein's Some Enchanted Evening: The Songs of Rodgers and Hammerstein and Anything Goes.
"The Alabama State Council on the Arts grant allows us to pursue our mission, as we create high-quality productions and classes for our community," says Theatre Tuscaloosa Executive Producer Tina Turley.
"With our venue undergoing renovations, this grant has helped us adapt to continue to perform during this period of change," Turley adds.
