So says Gov.
Roy Cooper in announcing the creation of the state's first music office, WECT reports.
The office, which will be housed in the state's Department of Natural and Cultural Resources, will promote the state's music scene and help attract music industry investments to the state, according to a press release.
"We are excited to expand our resources and opportunities for the state's thriving music industry, one that creates jobs and improves quality of life in all 100 counties," says DNCR Secretary Reid Wilson. Read the Entire Article
