New Jersey's Economic Development Authority is putting out the call for proposals for its 2024 Cultural Arts Grant Program, which aims to "catalyzing community placemaking efforts by leveraging the arts and cultural sector as a creative force for change," per its website.
What that means, per the Star-Ledger, is that organizations can apply for up to $75 million in funding to "create public space activation initiatives, such as placemaking projects, public art installations, and arts-based projects, in the downtowns of 31 select municipalities whose commercial corridors have been significantly impacted by reduced commuter traffic."
The applications will be accepted until April 23. Read the Entire Article
