Johnny Clapham, a student at William & Mary, took second place in the university's Entrepreneurship Hub's Venture Acceleration Programand won a $2,000 prize.
Clapham's company, Motion Medix, worked with the HealthComp research group to develop an app that allows people to order and pay for prescriptions, reports the Williamsburg Yorktown Daily.
The app will be available on iTunes and Google Play in the near future.
