Hartpury Digital Innovation Farm Announces 'Farm Forward' Initiative and Showcase Series

If you're a farmer in the UK, Hartpury College and Hartpury University are hosting a series of demonstrations of new wireless technologies that could make your job a lot easier, the Telegraph reports.

Called the "Farm Forward" series, the demonstrations are designed to show off the latest wireless networks and technologies that are available to the farming and rural sectors.

For example, Hartpury has partnered with the River Severn Partnership to develop an advanced wireless innovation region that will cover parts of central and southern England.

The demonstrations will show off technologies such as 4G cellular technology, WiFi, and millimeter-wave technology that can be used for things like real-time GPS tracking and monitoring, according to a press release.
