A high school senior in Lincoln County, Ky., has been named one of Kentucky's most promising high school sophomores for 2024, the Lexington Herald-Leader reports.
Brody Skipper, a junior at Lincoln County High School, has been accepted into the Governor's School for the Arts for Vocal Music.
The three-week program will take place at the University of Kentucky this summer.
"It is designed to be an immersive experience where students spend every day exploring artistry, learning about creativity, and building community with fellow artists," says the GSA's website.
"The value of GSA is over $4,000 per student and GSA alumni will have access to benefits such as college scholarships and direct contact with college representatives from across the country," it continues. Read the Entire Article
